The first new piece I created from start to finish during Art Every Day Month 2014, I embraced abstraction wholeheartedly. Up until now I had only dabbled in it here and there with a quick sketch or two, but this one doesnt have any objective though it is actually based on a photograph. The photo was muted and not of anything in particular, so it had an abstract feel to begin with, but in painting this I heightened the colors and allowed it to become a celebration of hazy colors.
I developed this on days four, five, ten, and fourteen of Art Every Day Month 2014.
